WHAT WE DO

YesWeAre aims to strengthen and educate children and young people about good character, values, and anti-corruption. In this way, we hope to contribute to the emergence of a movement within a new generation that stands up for justice and against corruption. By creating a strong foundation early in life, built on good values and character, YesWeAre seeks to contribute to environments where all people are treated with respect and where young people are given tools to influence their surroundings and society.

The work begins with an initial contact between YesWeAre and a school or organization. This may happen either through our own initiative to reach out or when schools or organizations contact us to learn more about our work.

When a school or organization chooses to work with YesWeAre, the collaboration begins with a contract being signed that includes how the partners will work together and which materials the school will use. After this, YesWeAre’s ambassadors conduct training sessions for staff and teachers where they introduce the working methods, the value-based principles, and how the materials can be used in teaching and in working with children and young people.

Once the training is completed, the school or organization begins working with the materials through weekly YesWeAre lessons, where students together reflect on age-appropriate everyday situations, discuss possible solutions, and talk about the consequences that different actions may have.

After the collaboration has started, we remain available for support, coaching, and follow-ups. We stay in contact with the schools and organizations to follow their development and support them in their work.

We are very positive if students and young people want to take their own initiative to start YesWeAre clubs where they can actively work to influence society and improve their surroundings. YesWeAre remains available for coaching, support, and continued contact.

Through this work, we aim to help children and young people develop an early understanding of the importance of rights and responsibilities that will follow them throughout life and help them stand up for justice and respect for other people.
